Title: Little bubble vase, is it Scavo or Corroso or neither?

On my trail round a junk shop today, I found this little clear glass vase with bubbles in it and ridges which makes it look like a sea urchin. The outside however looks as though it is made up of tiny bubbles which have been applied to the glass and feels rough like sandpaper, but it is only on the ridges.

I have tried to get a close up of the effect, but it doesn't seem to come out in any picture, and this is the best I could get.

Is it Scavo or Corroso or neither, (and I really don't know what either of them are  :oops: )

If it has little bits of rough glass on the exerior, it is what's called "overshot."  You should be able to find information about it on the web somewhere.

Many thanks to both Laura and Frank for helping me, but just another quick question(s), where and when might it have been made ?

The base is polished flat and that is why I thought it was Murano especially with the bubbles in it, but it may be American instead?

It is a sweet little thing, just  very hard to photograph well with it being clear, and that's my excuse and I, sticking with it  :wink:
