Title: help, identify 2 scrambles???
Post by: myweights on April 27, 2007, 07:22:09 PM
Hi,
Here is 2 scramble paperweights I have that I would like to identify.
1 is predominantly red and white barber canes with a few complex cane clusters. The central cane cluster has a 10 point white star/sunburst with what looks alot like a moon halo kind of pale blue ring within oustide of the star is pale pink, one of the canes around it has a pink running rabbit inside the cane it looks to me like. There is another with a sitting hen it looks like. Also one with spokes, but it is a bit mushed 8 triangles within the spoke I'm pretty sure. I need a stronger loop these canes are very tiny.... There is also a cherry blossom centered cane, that I believe shows up in one of the pics quite well. Concave base, outer ring looks old and worn a bit. Measures 2 1/2 inches wide X 1 7/8 inches tall.
The next one is all kind of scrambled canes, very tiny complex ones also, and the most distinctive is the peachy rings, and blue bunch of star type canes and a central heart. A bit larger it measures 2 3/4 inches wide almost X almost 2 inches tall. Any help to identify appreciated. Concave base, more wear around the edge.
