I got my copy of the Vizner resource databases yesterday -- I highly recommend it to anyone interested in Vizner's works and/or Czech glass.  For the majority of the pieces, Jindrich's databases offer multiple photographs, taken in different light and from different angles.  This is not only extremely helpful in helping collectors identify their glass, but it allows us to appreciate the individual beauty of each piece.  Also, the databases are very easy to use, even for a technically/technologically challenged person like myself.

A great and worthwhile buy.

Dirk, you're absolutely right -- In all my excitement, I forgot to mention the drawings... they do help a lot in 'seeing' the design of the glass.  :)

Well what can i say apart from "WOW".Im going to start collecting Frantisek Vizners glass from now on. I have seen some of his pieces but not like these. Im so glad i bought them. A good source of information and a helpful pont of reference .

Jindrich, your great data base was sent promptly but Australia Post get no praise from me as it (and a lot of other mail) has only just arrived today. I did have a quick drool but could not find the written details of the pieces-sizes, colours etc- is there  any? regards Carol
