Title: Heavy Pressed Vases with Black Plinths 1930s/50s - ID = Stölzle Hermanova
Post by: Mosquito on June 15, 2010, 08:08:32 PM
Just wondering if anyone can help ID this magnificent pair of pressed glass vases. They come with what appear to be original black plinths. Height (not including plinth) is approx. 190mm.

They look very Czech to me, possibly Inwald - nice quality & the footrims are mirror polished. I've had a look through Marcus's catalogue CD but can't seem to find them...

Thanks,
Steven :)

Very much Stölzle Hermanova before 1958 vase no. 19759 and plinth looks as of for the 196xx range?

BEAUTIFUL!

That's great, thanks Pamela!  8)

I don't know how I missed it, I guess my eyes were tired after poring over catalogues all evening...
