Hello Everyone,
I am new to collecting glass and purchased this pressed glass bowl recently.
Please could some one help me identify it.
It is aproxx. 10cm in diameter and 7cm high.

Nice little pot, looks like the lady is smoking a pipe? maybe it was for tobacco. Looks c1920s earliest
by her dress. I hope someone may help you more on the origin of the glass. (French perhaps)

Thanks Andy,
I would be surprised if she is that old. She is holding a parasol, and apears to be sitting on the beach in a 50's? bathing costume. Since purchasing her I have seen 2 other similar pots both with stylised fruit lids. One was plain with a small gold band around the lid and the other had been painted in a similar fashion to this only it was extremely worn/faded. There are no makers marks or registration number that I can find on the pot.

you may be right, i still think she looks more 20s/30s than 50s . they were a little more 'risque' then,
i hope we get a few more opinions ;)
