I haven't seen a WF tankard in this shape before, I'm only familiar with their 'Toby Jug' tankards. I'm not an expert inWF though. My first thought for your tankard was Wedgwood:

The glass walls of your tankard look maybe thicker, the your handle's a slightly different shape...I'll have a search around see what else I can find on them.
Thought I'd show you this Wedgwood one though, if only to rule it out. :D

That's an amazing likeness, Lady - up to the slightly excentric polished pontil mark - I think the pontil was attached not quite in the middle in order to keep the piece balanced when the handle was attached... I wonder if this is true for all handled pieces?
I was thinking maybe WF because there was a series of tankarts on Dencill's Yahoo page - I cannot find the link to it right now but it had me enthralled for the best part of an hour. No nothing to do with a slow connection, either.
