Title: Jacob Bang / Holmegaard Decanter?
Post by: Pinkspoons on December 01, 2005, 01:12:47 PM
I was sold this as 1930's Holmegaard, apparently from the Primula range... can anybody aye or naysay it? It matches quite nicely the other J.E. Bang piece I have in colour and style... although the cannister is oft listed on eBay as the Primula range too just recently - but I doubt it is.

*sigh* I'll be so much happier when I get my mits on the old catalogues...

Book: Dansk Glas 1925- 1985
Catalogues.... apparently Holmegaard have reprinted some of them from the 1930's. But don't have any plans to reprint the 1950's-60's ones. *tuts*

Thank you
I suspected that was the book referred to - just checking.
As to catalogues I drew a blank from Holmegaard one that score when I wrote to them a couple of months back so I wondered if there was new news.

Hi. Thanks for the pointer. I saw someone selling the bottom half of a cannister not too long ago... as a vase. They'd make a good marriage, I suspect.  :)
