It appears this vendor has made it up, according to vendor Monart was getting made in 1896 and by someone with the initials IB . History being rewritten !!!
I have emailed the vendor that he has interpreted the label wrong and it is a powder bowl with lid missing, waiting for a reply.

Possible that the vendor was misinformed by somebody else.
But I like the idea of "IB" being the maker ... probably Salvador's father in Spain, meaning "Isart Blown" and intended for the British market. :)

The vendor replied to my email and has re listed item with amended description.

lol I also informed the seller of the codes and date though I put it down from the 30s onwards, if you look on the old listing four of us told her so she eventually took the hint and relisted it
but I did like her original listing, made me chuckle ,
