This one belongs to my father, he always thought it was made by Pallme Koenig but I am not so sure.
I have not been able to match the shape but the decor looks very much like Kralik Pampas (rather then Loetz Pampas). The vase has a cut and polished rim and is 22cm high. I am fairly sure the body is in clear glass - it is the iridescence that gives it that greenish tone.
Any ideas?

I know what I like and I am looking at it right now!
Based on attributions given to pieces I own I think it is most likely Kralik - BUT there are others far more expert than I.

Is it a hyacinth vase..... ????? :wsh:

It is a Kralik piece in Burgundy Swirl. Generally seen on this color ground and also on gold/orange iridescent ground. Nice example... I really like the shape.....

Thanks Craig that is great but Swirl? The pattern looks nothing like photos of Swirl on your site, it's just not that 'busy'.

Too tall for a hyacinth vase.

Hi John,
You may have looked at images of Blue Swirl.... Here is an example of Burgundy on Gold.... Less busy.... but a different background color.....
The pieces do vary a little also.... Classic Kralik though.....

Thank you for the clarification Craig, much appreciated. I looked at Swirl and also Red Swirl. I can see the difference to Pampas now too, this is less organized and regular.
Thanks everyone. As to a hyacinth vase Sue, ::) (the neck is also too narrow for a decent bunch of roots).

I shall come up with a suitable reply when I find my brain. :P
