Title: Nazeing Glass - Babycham glass
Post by: Frank on September 23, 2006, 11:42:50 AM
I had a mail from Mr Pollock-Hill, Managing Director, Nazeing Glass Works Ltd. Identifying this eBay Babycham Glass as one that they made both the glass and decorated it.

How many companies made these glasses Frank?

I would expect Babycham to have gone to the cheapest at any one time over the years, or did they stay faithful to one company?

They used blanks from various sources. Vasart did some decorating, as did other firms. Details of the contracts are lost so tracking and dating them is near impossible. So this particular positive identification makes it special.

Ah yes, of course, I thought I had seen something about it before, but couldn't remember where.  Many thanks.

I must remember to use the search button....
