Title: Green cased Whitefriars bowl. Pattern number?

I have this 5 inch diameter bowl that I believe to be by Whitefriars and was hoping someone could tell me the pattern no. It has controlled bubbles and is, I think, cased green. It has almost straight sides and is  1 1/2 inches deep. Thanks John

Hi Chris,I thought that the 9099 had a more pronounced curved look to sides, certainly in the 4 inch variation, but having looked again I am sure that you are right, thanks John

I believe the way to tell wfs ones from other similar ashtrays is that in wfs ones, if can hook your finger under the rim a little bit, its wfs. The dimensions are not absolutely consistent in these, I have one a full half inch taller than another, and the shape starts to become more ball-ish - curving in a bit. But there is still a ridge under the rim of the short one.
The bubbles should be well-controlled and the colour should fit in with one of the "designated" wfs colours.
(mine are both full of fag ends!)
