As I didnt get an answer the last time I`m trying to post this topic a second time. :)
I`m not a collector, but got curious about two identical lamps which I got from a friend that was rebuilding his old house.
They are made in white glass and brass and designed by the swedish designer Wiktor Berndt that worked at Flygsfors from 1955-74.
Up to now my searches on the net has ended up in vases and plates, but I cant find any lamps from his production.
I would be very greatfull if anyone have some information about these lamps.
Thanks in advance.

Hello.
How did you attribute the lamps to Berndt/Flygsfors? Are they signed or labelled?
A rough guess of age, based on the style of the lamp alone, would be probably late 60s to early 70s. A lot of cased glass using similar shapes was coming out of Scandinavia at that time. But that is just an approximate guess.

Thanks for your answer
yes, Its a label at the top of them

Sorry I can not offer you any info or help.
The lamps look fantastic and I am very jealous, I would guess that they were not made in large quantities.
How is your Swedish? You could try searching web pages in Swedish, you may find something (google has useful translation tools if you do).
John.

Hi,
You may well have tried this yourself and seen the response but as I could see it was a ceiling lamp I Googled "Flygsfors ceiling" just as a hunch and lo and behold.
I am noted for going in with both feet and getting wet of late, aren't I right John!!! but it's worth a stab methinks.
