the only bit of glass i got today, it measures just over 4" high a very light blue in colour and very very thin glass, signed on the base in script " ORREFORS SWEDEN 60 E D HAGGART " anyone know any thing about it...thanks

A puzzle. That's not the usual format for Orrefors signatures. I checked Ulrika Ruding's chapter on signatures in Wickman's Orrefors book and there was no mention of a Haggart. Your best hope of identification is the vase, as I don't think the signature can be interpreted using Orrefors system. I'll have a look through a few books to see if the vase pops up.

thanks David, i also could not find anything on haggart, just wondering if someone's been doing a chrism

Hello:
My opinion is this work was created at the Orrefors Glass School which is located next to the glassworks.
The students are allowed to sign their work and they have sold it at the second shop at the factory.
Many talented glass blowers and artists have come from the school.
