Hi All
Several people have asked questions about Old English paperweights in the past year, so I have put together a brief illustrated guide on my web site, and added an article I wrote a couple of years ago. You can find these at www.pwts.co.uk (http://www.pwts.co.uk) , Identification of Old English Paperweights, as 'guide' and 'article' respectively. Hope this helps.

Thanks Alan, enormously helpful :D
I'm a real fan of the old English weights, something about the color schemes and canes
that I like a lot. Especially Bacchus, they seem to be a little out of my range tho.

Hi Alan,
Great website. As well as the article on Old English Paperweights at http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/paperweights/pages/OE%20New%20Groups.htm
and your great guide to identifying them at http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/paperweights/pages/OE%20Identification.htm
I see that you also have a fascinating page about Chinese paperweights - very useful for identifying them - http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/paperweights/pages/Chinese.htm
I recognised a few of my own amongst them!
