Hi there not sure about this jug, your advice would be most appreciated. It is 9 1/2 inches high and very heavy.

I'm never sure about these myself. They seem to be quite common though. Two of our local chariry shops have them at the moment.

Hi Cazza, it could be a WF martini jug, why not pop over there and ask :) but there were lot's of other's who made martini jug's, but it's worth a try.

I had a quick look through the WF catalogues, but couldn't find it.
But the colour does look very much like Twilight, I have to say.

Hmm, what about 9439 1967, similar handle?

True enough, but the rest of the pitcher is completely different, and patt. 9439 was only available in Flint (clear glass).

I'm sure I saw that shape but in a blue/aqua at a boot fair a couple of weeks ago with a Krosno sticker on it. One stall had about 30 jugs, all Krosno stickered, the seller was Polish.

Hi not sure about Polish, the jug had years of dirt on it, it was filthy! you could ot make the colour out it was so dirty.

They've being making glass in Poland for a while! I've got a Krosno set that's at least 40 years old, bought in M&S, so I was told
