Title: Blue Tartan Effect Vase ID (images resized) ID = Alsterfors
Post by: heartofsklo on August 05, 2010, 07:29:21 PM
A nice deep blue with the effect in the glass looking like a tartan or seperated oblongs. It measures 16cm tall.

Mod: Images resized & attached for heartofsklo

Is it a lightweight, super shiny kind of glass?  I think it's out of the same stable as this one:

The base looks different to the mine, mine is a lot  smoother and even (although it is slighly mottled). The top rim of mine is finished and extremely smooth, where as the one in the link looks more like a flat crystal finish where mine is deffinately pressed rounded, the shape does look similar though. Thanks

yes, it did the same to mine     but I got lost with the description, where does the 'tartan' bit come in?  I was expecting colours?

Appologies about the images, they were only 640x480 but for some reason, theywere tranferred to much larger. Tartan is a checked pattern, not colours.
