Title: Triangular candle - ID = Ice Stone by Karel Konak

Unmarked, side faces 82x82x75 mm.  Came in a Stuart Strathearn box but as the label had been removed it seems likely to be a red herring.

diameter 8 cm
* other dimensions 6; 7 cm
Unfortunately sizes seem at odds and Desna's picture (http://www.desna-glass.cz/pages/img/2786900080cr.jpg) distorts it a bit.

Confirmed it, the 8cm is the horizontal distance beween the base apex and the top apex, the 6 and 7cm are the heights of the top and side triangles.

Interesting way of measuring and with 6, 7 and 8 obviously a design point!

It's an interesting, novel, and brilliant marketing and sales point, Frank.   I wonder how many mathematicians have puzzled over this in the shop and then just had to buy a pair ("Sorry, Sir, we only sell them in pairs") so they could get them home and measure the angles, other dimensions, and the volume.   My first reaction was that I couldn't remember such a special property of octahedrons.

It's those extra few sales that make you the profit.
