Title: Blue Satin Perfume with colorful canes floral top Italian?
Post by: Connie on February 19, 2006, 03:21:07 PM
Another perfume I recently acquired.  The glass looks Italian but the metal floral top is marked "Made in Germany West"

From the dicussions in this thread - http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,4285.0.html

I am hesitant to use the term murrine/murrhine but there are sliced canes in the glass.  What would be the proper term for the techniques?

Any ideas on the maker?  I am thinking 1950s Italian for the glass base.

I am sorry for the blurry pictures of the canes, but since the piece has been satinized there are soft and blurry looking
