Searching (without success) for the maker of a small butterfly bowl, I found this:

Could Baronial be precedent of BARONET Crystal since 1958 by Davidson - see Chris and Val Stewart's page 62 ?

just a guess :pb:

Coming back to this after a wee while!

Tony, thank you, if you have a larger version that'd be even better as I can clip out each piece and show the detail better.

Tony, does your advert have a date by any chance? I'm trying to run to earth who may have been the dealer at that address and a date might help. 11 Ludgate Hill was a building which had multiple occupiers, including Dean & Co, the publishers; a photographers; and several general merchants.

Hi Anne
The advert I scanned came from an English magazine called Good House Keeping. I think!

I have not looked at them for sometime now, anther one of those roundtoit's!

I bought some 20 or more magazines all are from the 1920's but some are in a poor state and no date, could be mid 20's

If I have some spare time!! (We are having a new kitchen fitted) I will dig them out and have another look

Browsing in the new GTS for matching ring holders and trinket sets I came across, an advert ( see Mysteries - Research - Adverts) of Baronial Glassware. Later I found back this discusssion....  Well, here I am with a photo of the ring holder of that set. It mesures 11,5 x 8,5 cm.  Anne, feel free to use the photo for GTS, although we don't know the manufacturer yet.
