Title: Help identifying signature on scandinavian glass
Post by: wesley on May 13, 2010, 06:17:36 PM
Hello,

Can anyone help me identify the signature on this piece and a possible date? I have takes a picture of the signature & then broken this down into two pictures.

The glass measures 12 inches in height and is rather heavy. The figure on the front is etched/ engraved.

Kind regards,

Wes

Looks like it may be Kosta, no ideas about the rest of it though.

You could stick a black sock in the bottom and try photographing the signature again.

Looks a bit like Kosta 942 BW ?? Bergh - which would make it Ellis Bergh, in the 1930's (????)
