Hi,
I'm trying to see if I can get any information on this paperweight. It has quite a bit of scuffing on the top and the base so I'm pretty sure its an older one and its kind of squatty looking - not all that much bigger in size than a door knob. Thanks for any help! :)

I agree it looks old - which could mean antique French or American. The lime green cane reminds me of a Saint-Louis colour.....whereas some other canes look rather American. Does it feel heavy for its size, like lead crystal? Is the base flat, or polished concave with a wear rim?

It is very slightly concave with a wear rim around the outside. I did see a few canes inside right around the edge that I thought might help distinguish it but I haven't had a chance to photograph them yet. I'm going to try to do that today and I can add some more photos if I can get a decent picture of them. Thanks! :)

I'm pretty sure it is American from the New England Glass Company in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Circa 1860-1880.
