This might sound like a silly question but I just *have* to ask it, having seen various examples of coloured glass (as in clear pink, and clear green, but not irridised) attributed to Loetz, did Loetz do pressed glass, in the same styles as say Bagley or Brockwitz?

Doesn't seem likely because their output from 1879 onward was luxury glass, previously it had been household utility glass. They finally went bankrupt in 1939. Info from Truitt and Truitt vol 1. All the images are of blown glass, mould blown possibly, but not pressed

With a company as big and long lived as Loetz it is hard to say never never -but I can't think of any Loetz pressed glass
Nearly all Loetz has a very tidy polished pontil -with the exception of a few styles that had no pontils and cold cut tops.
They did made non-irridised pieces over a number of periods, but nothing quite like the standard Bagley pressed glass.
They did make olympia glass with is an almost bagley like green, but paler, slightly iridised, and blown.
cheers

Thanks both, that reflected the info that I had found but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something less obvious. Much appreciated. :)
