Title: Unidentified Glass - whitefriars?
Post by: wesley on January 29, 2008, 10:49:01 PM
Can anyone help me identify this rather nicely shaped cased glass vase measuring 6 3/4 inches in height. It has a central vase in emerald green and what I can only describe as cased piping on the sides (Reminds me of a bit of a 70's rocket!). The base is ground flat and it is unmarked.

It has the feel of Whitefriars but was wondering if it may be Scandinavian?

Best wishes,

Wes

If, as it appears, it has 2 "Flaps" in clear glass I would suggest you look carefully at Galliano Ferro from Murano.  It would be best to add photos showing a top-down(plan) view, a clear photo of the base, and preferable a full side on view - which can be achieved by laying it down on a plain white background.
