Am assuming this is one of the Scandinavian makers. 10 inches (26 cms) wide, heavy, and with a bamboo like texture.

Much closer to home, see page 222, 20th Century Glass by Charles Hajdamach, it is part of the (centrifuge cast) flair range by Ravenhead.

Well beat me to the ground with a "bamboo stick" - Ravenhead? I was also thinking Humppila or something at least more exotic than Ravenhead.
