Title: Purple, green & white weight with small hole to base for id
Post by: yesvil on December 14, 2010, 03:23:53 PM
Any help on this one would be appreciated.

The base area is concave with a polo-mint shaped inner raised bit at the very centre the hole goes into the glass by about 10 mm.

Height 80mm
Width 80mm

This style of weight has been / is still made by many small glass studios as simple gift weights.  You can even make similar ones at Wheaton Village in 'make your own paperweight' sessions. So if it is not stamped on the base in any way, I doubt you will track down the specific maker.

Thank you Alan. I thought it was a bit of a hodgepodgey one, but the base was quite distinctive - Not something I've seen before anyway.
