I think this might be a Guernsey weight but I'm not so sure. The mark on the base doesn't look complete.
I've tried to draw the mark as it's very faint.

Guernsey?
Thanks, Tony.

Hi Tony,
I am not absolutely certain, but I believe that all Guernsey (English Channel Islands - not the glassworks in the USA) is marked with an impressed logo of "thee lions" (although in some cases they look more like rabbits, or anchors :!: ).
-
There's a Guernsey mark near the bottom of this page and when comparing the two the Guernsey mark is a square shape and it seems to sit on a blob of glass. My paperweight mark is pressed into the item and no seperate blob.

It's a mystery. :D

Your mark could be a tree.
-
I suppose it could be the mark where the shears cut the gob of glass and not a makers mark at all?
-
That is also possible, I have seen that before.

Possibly, although the mark is symetrical... but it is very faint though.
Perhaps it is one of these only larger?

By the shape, colours, etc., I would say yes, there is a distinct similarity! Can you investigate the makers of these, Tony? The ebay seller appears to have an enormous shop, with lots of Czech glass!

Aloha, no reply to my email yet. :)
I found nothing when googling the label.
