They're constantly advertised as Holmegaard, though clearly they're not. I recently bought one in red, out of curiousity, and the quality of them isn't all that good. Mine has a partial rectangular silver foil 'Foreign' label on the bottom of it.

I would post a photograph of mine, but I'm redecorating and my camera, lighting, etc... is temporarily packed away, but mine's identical to the two smaller ones on this auction:

This is Ivo territory!  :wink:  I hope he gives his opinion for you.

I'll keep an eye on that auction - I wonder what they'll go for?  To my mind, they all look Italian, and not terribly exciting pieces of glass.  :P

It all depends on what reserve has been set at. Generally these generic Scandi style vases go for £15-£25 on eBay - needless to say I paid nothing like that for mine - but his Buy It Now, including P&P, works out at over £41 per vase!  :shock:

The same seller had some genuine Holmegaard (suncatchers) on last week, but I missed the end of the auction, and it finished really cheaply.  :cry:

Another suggestion I've had is Taube of Germany. Possibility?

I have a very similar red candle holder which I have always believed to be German.

Ah, they finished at a little over £100 - so I was about right with my £15-£25 each estimate.  :D

Dread to think what the reserve was, though. *gulp*
