I had assumed that this was a Jacob Bang design for Holmegaard, c.1937 based on colour, shape and manner of decoration - but I've been unable to track down anything from the period that has such a figural applied seal. The Bang seals of the 1930s generally comprise of abstract squiggles, and recently comparing it to other røgtopas (rauchtopaz) pieces the colour of this vase seems a little too reddish.
So I thought I'd widen my search - could it be from one of the Swedish glassworks?
Height = 285mm Diameter = 135mm. The underside of the foot is entirely concave and finely polished.

Does no one even vaguely recall seeing this very distinctive vase, or even a distant cousin of it, elsewhere on their travels? :o
I'm now more or less certain it's not Holmegaard. It was, however, sourced in Denmark - so a Scandinavian origin is a strong possibility.
