It looks a bit like a Mdina vase to me :-\

or mtarfa

I think it is modern - but don't know if Polish, Baltic, Chinese or Romanian.

At that size it will not be from Mdina or Mtarfa.

oops ;D I didn't think about that

I agree modern and from a home decor type store. Perhaps not Polish, as their glass seems to be better proportioned

Contemporary Chinese. Definitely.
Please, Vintage missy, would you post your images directly to the board?
pb ones disappear, leaving the thread unillustrated and useless for future reference, and many folk really do not like having to navigate away from the board to see things.
An enlargable thumbnail is best. Folk can see at a glance whether or not they need to look further and enlarge it to be able to comment, or know if they can just pass on by, because they know nothing and can't help.
Having to navigate away, only to find it was a wasted effort, is just irritating - especially if it happens time and time again.
Loads of techie tips here

Thanks everyone for your help
I have tried time and time again to get the photos to show up properly chopin-liszt. Using the options given in the message template doesn't work for me. It works for other forums I post in, just not this one unfortunately. I will keep trying though

Do you have the "Paint shop pro" programme? It's free and easy to use.
Just type "Paint Shop pro" into a search engine and you'll get the free download.
The instructions for using it to get perfect clickable thumbnails for posting are in the techie tips. :)

Thanks chopin-liszt, I shall take a look
