Hai there,
I have this set of 4 wine-glasses, that are decorated with I believe
thin lines of purple glass. To me the motive seems jugendstil/deco, but i 've never seen anything like it. Anyone?
Greetings, theo.

You've done that yourself, haven't you, with your little glass decorating kit.
The blanks are from a machine that makes 1,000,000 of these café wine glasses per day.
On the underside where the stem meets the base you will find a semicircular mark that says "FRANCE".

Ivo,
are you serious, or are you just having a bad hair-day?

Sorry to have dashed your hopes but I'm being serious. The decoration comes out of a squeeze tube. These sets are sold in hobby and toy shops, it is a type of resin or glue. The blanks are Arcopal automated production as described.
Now your clear cased green treebark vase or longdrink glass (depending on size, how many you have & how heavy they are) was possibly made by Oberglas Austria, by Ingridglas in Germany or by one of the manufacturers around Turin. It does look real enough, really. :)
