Did any member of this board win Lot 969 at Nicholson's yesterday, with the flat topped Ysart star and the unusual Old English paperweight? (I cannot post the image for copyright reasons). It is the latter weight that interests me, as it is from a completely unknown maker whose only other recorded paperweights (as far as I know) are two sulphide and millefiori examples, one being in Broadfield House.
What I would like to know is the glass density!
