I know it's IoW had a good look through the Mark Hill book and had a look through some of your galleries I am familiar with the pink and blue swirls but they tend to be horizontal this is more streaks? and running from top to bottom, if it's a studio range I cannot find it ;D maybe a one off vase.
Any thoughts appreciated it's 7.5" high 4" across thanks Chris :sun:

No idea, easy enough to work out the possible date range from the flame mark but otherwise I is clueless. Ask Ron to comment, his email is at the bottom of this page: http://www.artiusglass.co.uk/

Hi John, done loads of searching and cannot find anything to resemble it in shape colour or pattern took your advice and got in touch with Ron and also posted it here. http://www.isleofwightstudioglass.co.uk/SMF/index.php?board=3.0
So see if anyone on there comes up with anything.
cheers Chris

An update on the vase, received an email from Ron agreeing it does not conform with any range production and is one he has not seen before and does not appear in any of his studio archive information and could have been made any one of a number of glass makers employed at the studio. One of the many trials that came and went if it was not considered commercially viable.
Thanks again for the information given Ron.
Another photo with a couple more items to put the size in perspective it really is a big heavy lump.

That's a lovely big vase Chris, and with Ron's information I imagine it will be quite valuable.....not like so many of the mass produced pieces, and with the flame pontil as well, it seems a treasure....one to keep perhaps?

Thanks for taking the time to make a comment Rosie, and of course to Ron Wheeler for sharing his invaluable knowledge.
