quote..................'thanks for reply, ive realized there is not much crystal here'..........             I'm curious to know where 'here' is :)

I get the feeling that 'crystal' is one of those words used to describe just about any sort of clear glass..........it meant a lot to the Venetians, Bohemians and the creators of rock crystal wares, but in the C20 is it best confined to lead crystal only?

This piece might just possibly be Continental - insofar as it doesn't have traditional looking cut glass decoration - might be Czechoslovakian/Bohemian, but I'm really only guessing, sorry can't help.

I'm sure we've seen greyfella before, but if I've not said welcome to the GMB then................welcome to the GMB. :)

thank you for your reply.i have got absolutely nowhere looking for pattern or something similar so even your guess is better than i have done .the vase weighs 2.4 and some kilos i just thought it was a nice thing at a really cheap price along with some other clear glass .anyway i am rambling ,appreciate your time and will keep at it
