Title: Silver-topped Uranium perfume bottle
Post by: Leni on November 12, 2012, 09:14:19 AM
I wonder if anyone has any idea of a maker for this silver-topped Uranium glass perfume bottle?  Engraved with dog-roses and ferns, it has a hallmark on the collar for London 1904 and silver makers mark T.W&S (which I have so far been unable to identify!)

Any help appreciated.  Many thanks.

That's gorgeous Leni.  I don't know anything about silver but could the &S stand for 'and Son'?  or would it not have been marked like that?
There's nothing on the silver pages which I guess you've looked at anyway.
Can you get a close up of the big leaves and a pic of the base at all please? the leaves remind me of the  comport and plate I had and of STevens and Williams/Webb type engraved leaves.
thanks
m

Try here, bit of a weave to get to the right contact but they usually respond (or at least used to?)
