Title: holmegaard green jug. date and designer help please
Post by: jakgene on September 19, 2010, 05:09:00 AM
This is my custard jug - used regularly and loved! . However I recently tried to find out when it was made. From research I think the label indicates post 2000, but I have searched google images and the Holmegaard site without finding it. Any help with date and designer would be appreciated. it stands 15 cm or 6 inches high at the spout.  Thanks JAK

I don't have the relevant catalogue to hand, but it looks quite like Peter Svarrer's 'Quadro' series designed from around 1998-2000. If not 'Quadro', then something terribly similar.

Thanks for the suggestion Nic. I have just had a quick look and can't see this one, and the top of mine is not squared off but rounded. However the "dusty green" description of the colour certainly fits.
Will keep on looking

Thanks
JAK

Sorry Joanna, unfortunately I used mine over Christmas and it has also been broken - my own fault - it is cracked all around the handle area. regards, JAK
