Here is a lovely Murano bird that is about 4" high with a tummy full of air.
His beak is intact and his eyes are dots of blue glass, but they magnify in the light!
Lovely polished base.
The light lavender coloured glass is Neodymium....I will post another picture later to show colour changes.
Can anybody tell me who made him,, there are no labels I'm afraid.

Sorry that I can't be of any help but your bird is gorgeous. I hope someone solves your mystery.

Thank you Tam Bam, the photos just don't do him justice............the eyes a little blobs of the deeper blue, but they look like smudged eye make-up!!
I hope to list a picture of him in neon lighting so you can see him become a pink girl!!

Here is the other picture....changing colour, but of course, I got it wrong, didn't I, she becomes a he when under neon light....the first pictures are in natural light.........the deep blue somewhat floods out the lavender, hence my mistake.
Here is the neon lighing one!!
Now can anyone identify him/her please???

Does anyone know much about Antonio Da Ros for Cenedese, and if so, could this be one of his pieces?
-
????????
could it be FM Konstglas, Ronneby
-
Hi Rose.....how goes it? We have snow in abundance here!!
Not sure....it could be FM Konstglas.....the dark blue area is a big hollow section, and it is a very fine (as in thin) beak. I have a lot of FM Konstglas, and they all seem to be a lot chunkier in finish......
There is no engraved name on the base either....???

After seeing the last pic of your bird, Rosieposie, Cenedese struck me too, but I am not for certain.

Thanks Tam Bam....you know when you have a feeling that something is a bit better than you thought when you first bought it?....well, that's what I am thinking.
Any one else out there with Cenedese 'savvy' to help PLEASE!!!!

Happy New Year One and All!!
I'm nudging this back into the Murano scene, because I saw this bird vase on eBay, and though it looked so like my blue bird.

I am beginnig to think it might be Antonio da Ros for Cenedese......what do you all think? Can we say 'Sorted' on this?
