Title: Midsummer Nights Dream
Post by: Pip on November 28, 2006, 02:30:42 PM
With the two Chance London scenes dishes I bought recently was a third plate - same shape and look as the London scenes but with Bottom from Midsummer Nights Dream on it.  Piccie below - pardon the weird angle, I took the picture in a bit of a hurry.  Anyway, what I wanted to know is this part of a series of plates from Midsummer Nights Dream OR a general Shakespearian set?

Heh!  I wrote to David about that set on eBay, and he advised me that you might bid on them, so I held off.  I'm glad you got them!   :D  :D

...and I particularly liked the donkey/Bottom figure!

Awww you are sweet Max - thanks for letting me get them.  Do you want to swap one of your London buses for the Bottom one?

What a lovely idea, yes I'd love to!  Thank you very much!  Let's swap addresses by email and get it sorted out. xx

Makes you wonder if the GMB could have a 'swap shop'!

Apologies not need, was tongue in cheek... I see that 5 years on people still want a swap shop for non-selling... swaps or free give aways. Way to go of course, and it should be members only!
