Title: Intaglio Cut design Perfume Bottle Swiss 1940s
Post by: Connie on August 11, 2006, 03:25:28 PM
I have a beautiful perfume bottle with a cut glass stopper and a intaglio cut design on birds in the center of the bottle.  The bottom has a type written label wich reads "Switzerland 1946" which I interpret to be a homoe made label by the previous owner referring to date and location of purchase.

Does any one recognize the design? Maker?

Thank you for any information.

Hi,
Hoffmann, Posselt, Vogel & Zappe, or Schlevogt would be the favourite candidates for this.
Regards,
Marcus
