Art Nouveau, would have had silver deposit decoration but worn off to leave the black it was put onto. Acid cut back decoration leaving raised leaves and flowers, very pretty, quite large at 5 3/4" high by 6" widest at base. Mould blown and cut at the rim.

There is also a similar shape pictured in black and white above but it is not exactly the same as it doesn't have the bulbous type flair out just below the rim. That is reference in Pazaurek 1901, Page 118 plate 126 if I've read it correctly.
The question is Alfredo's has a Loetz Austria mark and is identified as Loetz production, Goldberg decoration, were the other vases in the same colour/type of glass also Loetz production does anyone know please? Mine has an area that looks as though there may have been an acid etched mark there but it's gone...not legible - it's an area on the right hand side of the picture of the base and there is no other wear on the base quite like that so it might possibly have been a mark.

Truitt's Bohemian Glass 1880-1940 talks about the Goldberg history prior to 1897 but since I am assuming this vase is post 1897 given the black and white picture in Alfredo's link is dated 1901, the comments on that period are
'In 1897 Goldberg moved the firm to Novy Bor to take advantage of the numerous home works operating there. He obtained blanks from nearby Polevsko and Prachen, as well as from Harrach in NovySvet.'....and ...'Goldberg was supportive of the glass school in Novy Bor and executed many of it's designs'.
So I guess the blank could be from Polevsko, Prachen, Harrach or Loetz, but given Alfredo's marked vase I wondered if it might be that this shape is a Loetz shape, or a known Harrach shape perhaps?

I came across another vase id'd as Loetz that looks to be similar. I appreciate that many makers would have made acid cutback relief vases but thought I would add this for future information as it relates to Alfredo's and also seems to be a similar technique/style decor wise to mine.
