Title: Iridescent Paperweight
Post by: adam20 on September 22, 2012, 07:28:26 PM
Iridescent paperweight - white surface very like Royal Brierley Studio, don't think it is. Could it be Heron or some other maker perhaps?

I thought the pattern was similar to the white RB Studio, I have a bowl. But now I see yours Keith I realise its more spotted or blotchy than the paperweights - Heron is possible or one of the other small studios, shame its not signed.

It does look like Heron to me - what are it's exact dimensions? Is it a slightly "squashed" round shape?

Here is a Heron weight to compare https://picasaweb.google.com/107067405711297858658/HeronGlassPaperweight#5753912025367996530 Yes it is a squashed shape and approx 2" diam by 1" high maybe a bit less.

Will post more pics tomorrow when I am home.

Thanks Adam

I'm pretty sure it is Heron Glass Adam.... you linked to Chris's excellent site... his pictures are so clear aren't they?  I think we are lucky that he allows us to access them.
I have a Heron Glass Studio ellie in your paperweight colourway... very pretty.
