Can anyone help me with this please. It has a polished base and no wear, the outer rim of the base has fractures which have also been polished it's 7 1/2 inches in height.

Hard to tell just from photos, you have the best information because you can pick it up and take a close look. Does it look and feel well made? If so perhaps Murano. Most of the Chinese vases that are similar are fairly crudely made, they are produced in huge numbers and quality control is less important.

I think in the future were really going to suffer John as old glass is reproduced in large numbers, it's a matter of time before fakes will really be very tricky to spot, quality, the odd chip the base, wear around the base rim, if someone with any sense reads these posts and has a glass factory it could be hard times ahead.

Does the TK Maxx item have a label? The store sells items from many countries, including east Europe as well as China.

it did kevin it was definitely made in china sticker but it has come off.
