First off i''m curious to know if this is a footed candy dish or a covered compote? And what is the best way to distinguish those two types of dishes. Secondly I am curious to know the pattern of this piece (mine is the amber one with the petal base). I have found several clear version of this piece also unidentified. It looks strikingly similar to Hocking's Vintage pattern (the included green piece). Possibly a later copycat? Thanks for any advice you can offer.

These would be covered sugars. No idea who made them though.

Jeanette Glass covered candy, two types, you have the later taller type versus the squat footed type. I forget off hand what got the molds when Jeanette when under, but the taller one was reproed. Heres on on eBay

I saw this ebay listing but I thought this was misidentified because I could not find a reference to Jeannette doing a pattern like this. Are you sure this is Jeannette?

Was the shorter Jeannette candy dish you were referring to this 3 footed one?
