Title: LEMINGTON BOXED GLASSES STENNETT-WILLSON
Post by: Sklounion on November 04, 2004, 08:55:15 PM
For those interested in early Stennett-Wilson, have a look at this set. A classic example of his work, mid 1950's by Lemington Glass, who were commissioned by him to make them in 24% Pb. It shows some of the range of colours he was working with at that time, and some colours that he took forward to Kings Lynn (later Wedgwood Glass) and the buyer did very well......

Marcus:

What a super set.   Someone did well!   I saw similar singles, sans label, on offer last Sunday at Woking for GBP 25.00 each.

Easy to remember his name - double-barrelled name, so double every letter you can.
