Title: Smoky grey geometric trinket set – similarities to Brockwitz 3800 ?
Post by: agincourt17 on October 11, 2012, 10:20:21 AM
Three trinket set pieces in smoky grey pressed glass  – stoppered perfume flask, lidded powder/pomade box, and comb tray. Art Deco geometric  style – slab sided with scooped and stepped sides, but no surface decoration.

Similar in many ways to the Brockwitz 3800 set shown in their 1936 musterbuch (Tafel 97)

shown with the addition of an atomiser, soap dish and a ringholder, but obviously differing in detail. No indication in the musterbuch as to Brockwitz colourways.

I see that Pamela has a peachy pink Brockwitz 3800 set on her site at

and the differences from the smoky grey set are quite obvious.
