Title: Chinese sandcast glass

I didn't know that the Chinese are doing good quality sandcast work. Could someone post a link please so that I can have a look.

I'm not familiar with any sandcast work coming from China at present but fine quality cast pate-de-verre/ Liu-Li glass is being made in China now, probably inspired by the success of Liuligongfang in Taiwan. Most of this is presently only available in the Chinese market and is not exported. Whilst staying in China over the summer I was lucky enough to visit a small studio which had just been established and which specialised in making cast glass using a lost wax process. The artist who sculpted the original masters was certainly very skilled and the quality of the finished items was superb. I've added some pictures here:
