Title: Little cut and gilded demitasse cup & saucer - salviati?
Post by: josordoni on November 08, 2006, 02:41:59 PM
When I bought this little cup and saucer it was attributed to Salviati.  Is this likely to be right?

thanks,

I wonder where it is from then?  I'll copy the enquiry over to the main Glass board.

I have to say my thought was it looks more like French art deco.

thanks both, I'll make the listing more generic.... I went with the original attribution as I found a cup almost exactly the same size and shape attributed to Salviati on the Great Glass gallery here (http://www.great-glass.co.uk/library/lib4aa.htm)
