Title: Pressed Platter: ID Indiana Glass Honeycomb pattern
Post by: Kanadiana on April 30, 2006, 09:48:02 PM
I like the shoe! ... for some reason I really love amber-y and dark honey coloured tones in both glass and stones (like Topaz) ... especially more so in "cuts" where the light reflections play so wonderfully. Like fire. Must be the Aries in me LOL

I found another amber-y thing, this time a dish which is very low and very well defined "pattern cuts" although this is probably pressed/molded glass??? It almost looks like the edging and handles were "added" through attaching it. Is this possible? The piece measues slightly over 9 inches from handle tip to handle tip, and is about 1 and a half inches deep.

Does anyone recognize this piece, it's maker, age, value etc? There are no marks or anything on it to show a maker.

Thanks for any input :)
