Title: Emerald Green? cased? coindot?
Post by: lhazeldahl on February 12, 2009, 09:06:33 AM
Hello, my friends,
I am hoping that in the process of sharing, with you, more time and pictures of my glass pieces, I can garner the same benefits of your knowledge as I have in the past.  This little piece is so clear and GREEN, deep ruffles, it just seems so extreme.  I would love to know if it is Fenton, like the handmade tag said, or what it is?  Is it very old, and if I ever have a piece of real, actual, honest-to-Pete, European Glass, let me know, ok?  (It will make my decade!)

Linda

This appears to be our Lime Opalescent 7" double crimped bowl (your enquiry didn't mention size). The Lime Opalescent color was rather short-lived, made by Fenton from 1952 through 1954. Our ware numbering system was changed during this period so the bowl was initially listed in price lists as No. 203 and later as No. 1427.
