Hi Guys
I am looking for a topic about a glass water set? dipicting animals from East Africa I am sure it was by Bernard C, does this ring any bells, it was sometime back also some very good photos in the topic.
The reason I ask is that today I saw a water set given to a couple as a wedding present, the jug had trees and a Giraffe a thumbler with a lion on I was told it was made in Austria for the East Africa Trade.

Tony — I believe you were looking for topic Roland Ward & Co - Engraved Decanters (http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,662.0.html).
A peculiarity of the GMB search is that you won't find it with a search on "elephant", whereas a search on "elephants" comes up with the goods. A search on "elephants" and "lions" comes up with just the Roland Ward topic.

Thank you all, I have just been transported home for a little while....I grew up in East Africa.
The only other work that has moved me so before is Lesley Pykes beautiful engraving.....her Gloriosa Lily took me back to my Mother's wonderful garden out there.
