Title: Tiny Bullicante Sommerso bowl with generic label
Post by: a.mar.illo on December 17, 2011, 03:36:54 PM
Found this Tiny Bullicante Sommerso bowl with generic label, I picked it up because my guts told me so... very fine piece, they said:) It has one of these generic Made in Murano labels. I´m aware that these are almost impossilbe to ID, but I just wanted to know if somebody ever saw this label with the three stars, one star stands for AVEM, I read here on the forum, but three stars?

The label is a generic one and not AVeM. I do like the bowl, but I don't know who made it. I've not seen bubbles done quite like this before. I have a feeling you made a good buy.

I've got a weakness for these as the bullicante is so regular. However, none of them has  a label. The one with a label, Archimede Seguso, has two layers of bullicante.  I've almost given up trying to attribute the others and now just enjoy them.

Thanks Anita:)

David:
Yeah, they are really really nice, I love yours,
I´ve got the feeling that at least one of yours (1. or 2.) might be by the same maker as mine:) But we´ll never know...
